I’m just daydreaming here. Thinking about the possibility of building myself a garden shed, and having a dedicated (and possibly hidden) space for the still and related hardware. That got me wondering, what would you consider the minimum practical space needed?
My first thought is that I’d need enough space for the still itself, along with the condenser, collecting vessels, etc. So maybe 3’/1 meter wide at the bare minimum. Then, enough room for a chair so I can sit and watch it, and be comfortable. That means maybe 3’x6’ at a minimum, and it might feel cramped (or cozy, on the winter time). I might be able to get away with 2’x8’ (since the shed would likely be some multiple of 4’ anyway), but I can’t see going any narrower.
