Don’t distill when you have the flu!

Got distracted and poured my single malt low wines in with an all feints run! Couldn’t figure out why my feints yield was so high. 1.5 gallon at 184 proof. Should have had a couple quarts.

$#@%*!! There are no emojis this!

Feints were rum feints and apple cider and now some real nice golden graham and chocolate malt low wines. Definitely not a neutral but resulting flavor profile may go in another batch of Rum.

Disheartening for sure, D4D. Your next batch of single malt will turn out to be extra special.

That would really have me pissed.
Sometimes when I have a little too much going on in the shed this is my biggest fear, so feints are always in a keg. Low wines go in an 8 gallon SS stock pot. Beer destined for the strip goes in buckets.
Feints destined for the next run of the same thing go in clear demijohns, and backset goes in brown half gallon growlers.
