Copper question

I understand the desirable qualities of copper stills. My question is Has any one tried to place a copper sleeve into a stainless pot? The way I figure is that it would require no soldering just roll a copper sheet to fit this inside circumference and make some tabs insert slot a into slot b type. removable cleanable.

I looked through the forums and i don't see if this has already been discussed. If so please Pont me to that posting.
