HI!, I'm new to distilling and want to learn more with my new CM 8 gallon still. I have done a lot of winemaking and have a little experience in brewing, so this is a new ball game for me.
Hello & welcome, from a fellow Masshole. The fermentation background will definitely get you started in the right direction. Spend a lot of time reading up on your type of still as CM can be difficult to learn on as your 1st one. If it's modular, you may want to take out the dephleg & plates[assuming] & run it as a potstill first, til you get the idea of the process.
What type of spirits to you plan to make?
