Hello!
This is my first post on the site - I'm completely new to brewing or distilling, but have thought about it semi-seriously several times in the past. Finally decided to take the interest a bit more seriously and start doing some real research. I'm excited to learn as much as I can, definitely going to take things slow, but looking forward to being able to build and set up my own equipment and work towards creating something new from scratch. I'm an engineer and love building, creating, and working with my hands, I specialized in the study of thermodynamics (so the distillation process is particularly interesting to me), and also love to cook and experiment with different ingredients and flavor profiles - so I view this as a great hobby to match my various interests.
As my username says, I'm very new so I appreciate everyone's patience! I'll be spending quite some time reading as much as I can before taking any concrete steps.
