Hello.

I've distilled a bit of hooch in my time but wasn't lucky enough to have access to this website when I was younger. That's pretty much my aspiration, making decent quality neutral from whatever is cheap but I also intend to have a go at some of your tried and tested stuff too.

I've read a lot of very useful information on here over the past few months and the more I read the more interested I am in building my own stuff.

I'm still forcing myself to read more and more as I know full well I have a tendency to try and run before I can walk and I will run into problems where I'm going to need to ask for advice from people with experience. I've always been a lot happier on the theoretical side of things and a nightmare with practical stuff -- ie. Building things out of metal with tools -- so I thought it might be a good idea to be able to ask for advice on here.

Hopefully you'll see the funny side to the man who can't wire a plug and thank you all very much for the knowledge I've gained so far.

Hello and welcome!! If you want to build your own rig, there is a build thread on here (if you haven't found it already) with tons of info! Also the Google search works really well when you have questions or want to go down some rabbit holes. Enjoy the ride!!
