Open Source Recipe Builder/Calculator Application

Hello, everyone. I have been attempting to use some of the recipe calculators that are recommended here (Brewer's Friend, Brewfather, etc.) and I've been having a lot of difficulty because these calculators are made for brewing beer. I've personally never brewed beer, so a lot of the terminology is lost on me and a lot of the settings in the calculators just aren't needed and confuse the process.

I was thinking of building my own recipe calculator app/program that is specifically tailored to distilling. I really appreciate the look and feel of Brewfather's app (https://web.brewfather.app/) and was thinking that something just like this, but specifically for distilling, would be fantastic. An app where you can build and save your recipes, create equipment profiles and fermentation processes, and include other tools like dilution calculators and such.

Would there be any community interest in something like this? If so, what features would be most helpful?
