Hello.
I started moonshinging back in the 90's, but then had a stop for about 15 years, and took it up again a couple of years ago.
Since 'the last time' I've gained some experience in tig-welding and also electronic construction and programming, which had made the hobby so much more intereriting.
My still is a 60litre barrel made from stainless tubing and a 1500/75mm column (3,5") currently packed with scrubbies. The head is an E-arc condenser and liquid controlled thingy. The output rate is controlled by the condenser, and there's a valve controlled by a microcontroller which does the fine tuning.
I've actually been a member here before, but my account seems to have vanished.
