Andy here from the Manawatu in New Zealand.
I got interested in distilling just prior to lock downs so it was my go to activity for those times. The only raw ingredients i could get in bulk was from a farm supply business. So i made rum from molasses and sweetfeed whiskey.
Since then ive built a reflux set up and make neutral and gins.
I have also just put a steamer together for mashing and distilling with steam. It doesnt need a float or solenoids to control water level in boiler , it uses a 20L keg like a water cooler cointainer.
I have learned a lot here and there is so much great info on this site, so i thank all who contribute.
