My name's Daniel, and while originally from the States, I've been living in Sweden for the last 16 years. After a fair few years as a brewer (mead, beer, cider, and fruit wines),and some experiments with freeze-distilling applejack, I've finally decided to get into mechanical distillation. I've been in info-gathering mode for a while now, and am starting to put together my final design for a small (35liter) modular column still for making tasty (as opposed to neutral) spirits-rum, whiskey, fruit brandies, and honeyshine, at least to start with.
