Happiness

Stillhouse bourbon mash
Stillhouse bourbon mash
A couple days after pitching, I have a very happy looking AG bourbon ferment going. The yeast is well over a year old and has been propagated from two packets of S-04, strictly on the same recipe. It’s nothing special, and nothing that many of us don’t see frequently, but it still makes me happy every time I see it.
Learn from the past, live in the present, change the future.

Can't beat seeing a good strong ferment well under way, it's like therapy, and I bet it smells good enough to eat too!

For me it's going in to the shed a day or two after pitching the yeast in a high malt mash
