Copper pot still restriction and vapor contact

Hi punters,
Could you please share your thoughts and input as to what would happen in the attached picture, the red represents a funnel.
Does this create any gain from vapour contact and does the restriction have a negative effect, or is it just a scrubbie in a microscope.
