Hello everyone! I'm new to the art and science of distillation; it is, however, a treasured pastime in my home of southwestern Virginia (USA) in the heart of Appalachia. I'm here to absorb as much knowledge as I can, and if it is something I see myself enjoying long-term, my hope is to turn this hobby into a business venture at some point. I am a computer/software engineer by trade, so maybe there will be opportunities for some cross-pollination between these skills. I look forward to interacting with you all on the forums.
