New to the hobby!

Post by Asinus_ne_sis »

I was raised in the woods and never left them.. I am basically new to distilling. I’m 40 feel 70 and act 15. Any advice is appreciated. I have done research on the craft and seen it done a few times when I was just a little bitty stain in the fruit of the looms of this world.. I had a few kinfolk that liked to cook grains…
I like a good drink and knowing what is going in my gut is just a bonus!
In an experienced opinion what the easiest corn mash?
My kinfolk advised 20lbs cracked corn
5 lbs corn meal
15 lbs sugar
15 gallons water
All they ever used was bakers yeast
Does this sound like a good mix minus the yeast? Gonna order some brewers yeast.
