Not cheap...an ounce is $19.39 + shipping, however we would use 5 to 10 grams per liter. I think it's worth a go, I'll try it.

Sow them in your garden, then you have seeds and roots.
I have tried them in one Absinthe, but only at 1g/l, so not enough to make a noticeable difference.
