My 1st Permanent set up!

I have only distilled 1 season, we ran 3 batches just enough to gain a little confidence and put up several gallons of liquor. That was al a temporary set up, but this fall we are working on setting up a small "Home distillery" complete with proper plumbing (no more lifting and toting buckets!)

Anyways, as we continue putting things together I am realizing for the 1st time how GREAT this will be!
Cracking corn, cooking mash, fermenting and distilling all from 1 dedicated location! Needless to say I am STOKED!

This is just the lay out and put together stage at present. I'll come back and update lil by lil as we progress.
Layed about 1/2 of the floor today! Lil by Lil we'll get er done!

Man I'd love a dedicated place like that where I could leave my stills setup and ready to go.

One day, when I'm retired maybe...

Hang in there and hopefully that will all work out. It's going to be my little hobby home distillery. It sure will make it a LOT easier to run a batch off when I want to.

That's awesome! Boy wouldn't it be GREAT to leave it all set up, have everything in it's place. Most of my stuff is up in my loft and I have to climb the ladder to get everything! Can't wait to see it all done. Congrats!

You will enjoy distilling here when it is complete. Looks really nice.
