Home Distiller

I have a couple of gallons of neutral spirit I made from a sugar wash. I attempted to proof some down with simple syrup and drop fresh fruit (apples, peaches and blueberries in separate jars) into it to see if I could get it to infuse and or make a tasty alcoholic fruit......it has been a couple of months, none it tastes very good.

Can anyone point me to right place in the forums for better info on how to do this?
