Overwhelmed

[American newbie]

So guys I'm new to the trade. I'll admit I jumped in thinking I will start brewing my own shine at home in no time and it will be easy. Hell I watched all the YouTube videos. BUT I can say that before I started screwing up I was doing my research. And here is where I am. I bought a couple of vevor air stills have the graduated cylinders all the gear can test for apv. But every thing I try watch makes me feel like I'm cooter instead of uncle Jesse. I am determined to start right and yes I know an air still will get some flack but bear with me. Is there anyone or anyplace that a true novice willing to put in the time and work to learn that can turn? I totally respect all of you guys but as a begginer it is scary as hell when you jump in expecting hillbillies and getting chemists!
