Vinegar run with wooden thumper

Yall ever did your vinegar runs with a wooden thump keg? I didn't know if the vinegar would hold around in that wood and make the final product a little bit funky or not. I just want to try a wooden thumper for one reason only, and that reason is....why not? I upgraded my rig from a 5gal to a 20gal pot and I do have a wooden barrel here I could use for it. Saves me some money
