It’s been over two years and now I’ve finally got a batch of sugar wash into the fermenter! After moving everything in and out of storage and getting the new location plumbed and wired it’s a beautiful sight! The new amenities (240V/120V receptacles, sink and hose bib with hot and cold taps, plenty of counter space) made the whole process much easier on my old bones. Been a long time coming and I am stoked! I would upload an image of the setup but I keep getting an http error

As someone whose literally tripping over all the shit from my other hobbies while distilling in my garage, I'm green with envy.

For the record I never said anything about not tripping over shit in my garage
Once SWMBO gets her “dream” $hed for the garden I’ll be able to clear out some landscaping crap and free up my side of the garage. Then I plan on really fine tuning with things like cabinets and shelves. For now it is on to putting up shades and blinds to keep the nosy neighbors in the dark.

Congrats Stoney! I went through this recently and the dust is still settling. Hope to get together for a hang at some point and maybe strum a few chords or something.

If I hadn’t put my foot down I’d still be digging in the garden for my Wife. I finally had to tell her that it was my turn to indulge in a hobby. We’ll both enjoy the salsa and shots eventually.

Take photos of the walls . I’m getting hassled about mould . I swear it was here when we bought our place two years ago and hasn’t gotten much worse . They , Mrs and son recon its whisky mould after hearing about it .

Anyway , yes forum had update a few days ago and there are issues with posting pics . Uncles working on it .
Would love ti see some snaps when you’re able .
