Being new to the pastime, I have a lot to learn. My first run was only the other day, and I can already see where I can make improvements.
From the initial setup to the equipment, adjustments are already being made. Still, I did manage to get eight bottles, each 16 ounces, of 64-80 proof. This is why I'm here—to get some assistance in order to make better cuts and blends.
In the meanwhile, I'll be making another post; but, how does one determine the appropriate amount of wood to add during aging? What if one want to preserve a bottle for 18 years?
