Long story short I spilled my water into my bucket I was proofing my drink down in. Dog ran up on me and the quart I was slowly adding spilled in it and absolutely killed my proof. I was aiming for about 90 proof and wound up around 70. Made my whole batch taste watery and like a fool I didnt keep an extra jar back from the higher proof hearts so I could at least add it back in to bump it up. Probably just gonna add all of it back in to the next run now.
Do not proof and let a dog in behind you.
