all corn, quick critique/advise on cuts please

Post by SchmuBrew »

STILL: 15g keg with (1) 240v 5500w & (2) 120v 1500w elements
WASH: failed all corn - attempted dry enzymes - zero conversion. Added 7lbs sugar to each bucket (left corn in).

Final spirit run was approximately 36L @ 30-32% (multiple stripping runs diluted using left over wash)

The tails cut was easy - I could smell it as it came off the still. Nothing (or next to it) in one jar, then the next jar... SKANK.

So although the tails were obvious, I am having difficultly with the heads, the question is - am I at least in the right ball park of where to look? Not looking for anyone to make a cut suggestion - just would like to know if I am in the range, or way off base.
