First still, CCVM?

Hey guys,
Might be a little premature to start the new thread but I’m getting itchy…
My goal is neutral to start, then play with gin, rum etc later.
Here’s a list of parts I have:
Propane burner
“Unmolested” keg
3” copper in following lengths:
48”, 22” 20” 14” 10”
Here’s my thoughts:
48” and 14” for the column with tc on both, ss T, 10” on top, ss 90, 22” shotgun.
Shotgun I was thinking 7x 3/4” unless advised otherwise
Here’s my questions:
How long of a line off the PC to collection jar is acceptable? It’s going to be above eye level at this rate…
For the RC, would 3/8 copper be alright? I have access to a bunch of it. I know people are leaning towards the stainless gas lines for ease of use but the copper would be free and I’m capable of functional (albeit sometimes ugly) diys. I think it’s only $40 for 60”x 1/2” (csst?) but $47 shipping… the uncoated stuff is hard to find up here.
Cheapest fittings I’ve found so far after comparing 5 sites was Ontario beer kegs, anyone found anything better in Canada or have any beef with them?
I kind of want to put a 6” ferrule on the top of the keg and reduce it for easier clean out when using it for rum etc, especially having the propane and anticipating a little build up on the sides. I believe I’ve read DAD saying they’re easy enough to hose out when unmolested. Please persuade me to save $150 if it’s really unnecessary.
