Another new member from Bristol UK

Hi Everyone

I am based in Bristol UK. Similar background in certain ways to Bristolian few posts below. I have been attempting to break into craft brewing and cider production commercially since before covid. However now stoney broke thanks to it all, so thought I would get back into some kitchen sink fun and forget about that particular dream.
I have been having a bash at making gin from scrumpy cider as wash using an air still. Or more accurately a water distiller and triac. LOTS of stripping runs but I surprised myself at the quality of the outcome.
Also in the toy box is a second hand Still Spirits T500 with copper reflux and Kegland Alcoengine reflux and pot still heads on the way. T500 had heat damage to cap so it has taken a little while repairing it. Vinegar run however will, with luck, be tomorrow and if time permits a 50 litre batch of Birdwatcher's.
