The moroccan peasant food of almonds (exceptionally here with chia too as per a recent moroccan butcher acquaintance), argan oil (or olive) and honey.
Remarkably high in energy the peasants would carry with them, taking a pinch, tucking it into bread and pocketing for a daytime snack in the field.
Modern versions are more like peanut butter than this, as they add more oil and less honey. The chia gives it a great texture while any unabsorbed oil (I use olive) pictured in the kitchenaid gets added atop the jarred goo for preservation.
Great for a day in the garage.
