Long time lurker and former member but lost my account info ((again)) years ago : wish I could say fine drink is the memory issue but methinks it may be just getting too damn old! Often the advise given here is to "go read" -- I do! I enjoy the reading immensely, just wish some of it would stick more.

Have looked at many resources for the hobby and hands-down HD has no comparison thanks to level of the contributors and great moderation. The build threads are my favs. I hope to build a versatile modular rig using a keg boiler as a pot still, add a thumper and grow into a reflux with the thought of gin/vodka production - VM when I get there. Favorite drink is spicy rye and strong pine-y gin. Thread suggestions welcome.
