Hey everyone,
I've been lurking for a while but finally joining the conversation.
Been making mead professionally for about 14 years and homebrewing beer and ciders since before that. I've always had an interest in distilling but never made the leap until about a year ago. Since then I've read, watched, and listened to more info than I thought was even available. I've always loved the tinkering side of these hobbies so getting into still building and such was perfect. I've been getting some experience with brandy and grappa style spirits using waste from work, along with some gin and agave spirits. Need to dust off the mash tuns and get some whiskeys going soon.
Glad to have a place to research however in depth and technical i can stand. Trying to grasp as much of the science of distilling without getting in too over my head.
Thanks all for the info and hope to be able to contribute as i get my feet under me some more.
Hey all
