I have read posts that say “run it slow”, but how slow is slow? I started by calculating ml/min then saw that I should be calculating l/h, ooops.. Anyway, I redid my calculations but still didn’t have a clue how slow is slow. I then came across a post that said “run it at less than 2 l/hr”, but is that slow or was the post that initiated that comment massively too fast?
My goal here is to recognise the offtake speed and match that to power input and a l/hr number so that in the future I can regulate by glancing at the offtake flow/speed and understand what it means. I remembered a youtube video that explained it as a “drip, drip, drip, spuuurt” so I have kinda gone with that and came out at an offtake speed of about 1 l/hr.
It’s a very small 4 ltr run as I only have my water distiller while my still is being built. I have added the chart below. Too fast? too slow? any advice gratefully received.
Thank you
Ray…
