I was looking for a book last night and ran across a 2l bottle of Jimbo's Ginger Liquour. I modified his recipe somewhat. I only used a little bit of honey and panocha. I bottled it around 45°. Damn I'm glad I didn't add all that sugar. Time took the edge off the ginger,I grow my own so more was better. I cut it last night with some cold Manzanilla sun tea. We are waiting for the rains now, this felt like it cut thru the humidity just right. Now when I can find an old 3 year old bottle of my rum and rye I'll be a happy camper.
Thank you for sharing Jimbo.
