I am in the planing of my third still which will be a 2" stone nixon still.
I don't have a boiler yet but it will probably be a 50L beer keg with internal heating elements.
I am tired of:
flour paste - after 24h run it can get cracked, also it doesn't look nice and has its own smell and I get messy hands - i don't want to use it ever again
cork - gets stuck and tears up when opened
PTFE tape or gaskets - its safety is kinda unknown
automobile gaskets - not food grade probably because its for cars
Is there any design out there that removes the need of any sealing materials?
But having the option to disassemble the still for cleaning and storage.
I have access to SS welder, so that wouldn't be a problem for me.
Thanks
