I bought a copper small (3 l) pot still, I used it at least ten times and every time I felt a copper taste in distillate. How do you think is it common in copper stills, maybe glass or stainless steel is better? :?:

Are you sure it is a copper taste ? And not just some tails ?
With tiny stills a run is over quite fast and tails appear before you know it..

The preferred material for distilling IS copper.
It assists in removing sulfides from the product.
So look some where else for the taste
