A more florid variation of the Bronx cocktail
- 1/2 ounce gin
- 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
- 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
- 1/2 ounce fresh-squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 ounce Grand Marnier
- 1 dash orange bitters
- 1 orange peel twist
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of orange peel.
The variation above has "straight" whiskers. For the "curled" variety, substitute 1/4 oz orange Curaçao for the Grand Marnier, and increase the orange bitters to 1/4 oz.
