Bucket stills are NOT safe and are not recommend.
Bucket [[still]]s heat the [[wash]] to a lower degree than a [[pot still]] or [[reflux still]], and perform a [[stripping run]] rather slowly. Many times they are heated by an aquarium heater, and use simple air-cooling [[condenser]]s. While these types of stills do remove [[alcohol]] from the wash, the end product is not particularly clean or palatable.
