Spirits are often flavored with fruits, spices, sugar and cream. Flavored spirits are often called cordials or Liqueurs

The typical method of flavoring spirits is to steep in fruits or spices. Sugar is usually added in the form of sugar syrup.

Another way of flavoring spirits is to add essences.
