Corn Whisky Wash

A mash is liquid solution made by heating malted or unmalted grains until they undergo saccharification, before fermentation can take place. A mash is usually made in a vessel called a lauter tun. Mash preparation is a first step toward producing certain distilled spirits including whiskeys.

Don't confuse a mash with a wash or must.
