I use stockpots constantly for cooking,iced tea(4 gal) the rivets are crap,won't stay clean at all.
If you MUST have handles,rivets grind off easily,use SS nut ,bolt, washer.....DrJ

..Thanks again,cemik! ...The reason I like this design is..(economical)(full control of reflux) :D ..You have already shown how to use stock pot to continuously strip any amount of wash in one run,so this should really do the job! ...I'm still working on my design,finished in 2 months or so,possibil...

..Stainless steel pots cheaper ,much safer,use copper scrubbers. Good luck!.....DRJ
