Aging 10 years in 10 seconds?

I found this on ebay. What do you guys think about it?

Well, plenty of people buy bed underlays with therapeutic magnets in them. Wonder if they age you 10 yrs in 10 secs??!! Whoops!

The only thing these magnets attract are suckers. There is a never-ending supply of them.

did u know that by putting ur wine/spirit under black light it ages it just like it was stored in an oak barrel for 10 years, even better than the magnet thing n soon available from ebay :)) (how many do you think id sell)

Unfortunatly there is one born every minuite and for every one born there are 10 to take advantage. Magnets can do many amazing things but a high magnetic field is also dangerous.

Anything claimed to age without aging is a hoax im afraid, if there was a way to age n have the same flavour as a properly matured spirit/wine i think the distillerys and wine companys would use it and not bother to age there produce with the age old "time" method.

Whiskeys and such gain their flavor and color when aged because of the way the changes in temperature cause the liquid and the wood to expand and contract, making the inner layer of wood absorb and expelll the drink.

maybe if you could make that cycle happen at a faster rate maybe you could cut the aging time, but not by much, and I still doubt that.

anything else is bs

There are a variety of techniques that have been used to reduce the amount of time needed to mature whiskey. Right after the end of prohibition was probably the key time for these techniques as american distilleries tried to rush their product to market.

Mainly these techniques involve using a large surface area of wood(ie wood chips) or bubbling compressed oxygen trough the product,

You can even use it on beauty products.
