my dogs appear to be digging a hole toward your side of the continent, so keep your eyes peeled

What kinda dogs you got, Jesse? I got a black & white bird dog who's prone to digging at the far end of the yard, so maybe they'll meet in the middle.

cool, we can trade some shine under ground!

i have a pit bull puppy, she's young and hyper and a pit bull/black lab mix who is older and a great dog. he'd have made a great bird dog if i was of the right mind.

Good deal, might have to send a St. Bernard through with a cask around his neck.

Pit Bulls are great dogs, despite all their bad raps (from bad owners). Mine's a setter, but she's all family pet, no time to hunt her. As the plumber said, she's kinds "ruint" as in ruined as a bird dog.

My Beagle had 8 puppies last week. I went from a 3 beagle pack to an 11 beagle pack in one day. Anybody need some rabbit dogs?

No fun to lose a favorite dog. Saw one of mine get hit by a Mack Truck years ago. Still think about her. Thoughts out to ya'll.

Time doesn't help ease the pain of losing a family pet. I had to have our Mastiff put down. It came as a total shock, took him to the Vet thought he may have hurt himself (he was completely night blind from PRA) and after Xrays found bone cancer. 4/01/05 RIP His ashes are above the computer, kids still include him in the list of family pets. Its odd I have lost many dogs growing up but with our Mastiff there was more dog to love 180 pounds worth  worlds best foot warmer.

Do you plan to get another Mastiff Jose?

I feel the same, I have an 11 year old black lab, sorta thinks he's half human, half puppy... Yet he's showing his age as well. Use to love to fetch a ball for me, now he looks at me as if I'm stupid if I toss a ball.

When the time comes, Gino will be sorely missed, but I will get another lab, I've had many different breeds through my life (parents breed poodles and dobermans), but nothing beats the temperment of labs imho!

Poobermans? Doberoodles? ( )

But seriously, I'm with y'all. Always had dogs, wouldn't be without one. Tough to lose any of them. Currently being kept by a chocolate lab and a weenie dog.
