Hello,
I'm pretty new to this subject, but I was thinking about building a still similar to the "Mini-Still" design http://homedistiller.org/image/mini_explained.jpg.
The problem is, I don't know how I can attach the lower plate right under the takeoff. I was thinkng about not soldering the two plates to the column wall at all but affixing them both to the condenser coils. This way I can remove them both for easy cleaning by just pulling the condenser out of the column, and if there is some space between the plates and the column wall, it should just provide some more reflux, right? I tried to make a drawing to make my idea clearer, but it didn't turn out so well, I uploaded it anyway:http://nic-nac-project.de/~yaotsin/bild ... esign1.jpg
Does anyone think this design will work?
Thanks in advance for all answers
