Feed yeast with sugar. Distill results in very efficient reflux still. cut with distilled water to 40%. or buy the best bottle you can afford (no wait, that's not a reciepe thats a method). or check out the thousands of past messages about the same thing

I'm pretty new to this but I have had great success so far.
Heres my recipe for a 20 liter sugar wash batch:

5kg sugar
5 tsp bakers yeast
1 can(~350ml) tomato paste for nutrients
17 litres of water
I also add a bit of lemon juice but its not necessary.

Let it sit at 20-25 celcius until it stops bubbling.

On the yeast's packs!

Post by Bujapat »

You can find recipes on the site homedistillers, but also on the Turbo yeast's packs! The more difficult, I think, is to filter (with carbon) and cut the tails at the right moment...

I've well some recipes, but they're wroten in french and it would take a little time for me to translate in english.

If you don't find elsewhere what you're searchin' for, re-ask me.
I'm french speaking!

Boiler : 50 L (13 gal) beer keg, gas heated.
Reflux : 104 cm (41 inches) column 54 mm (2 inches) diameter withh SS scrubbers packing.
Potstill : 40 cm (15 inches) column 54 mm (2 inches) diameter without packing.

Hey Bujapat, you may be speaking French, but I'm reading you in English and I don't see anything wrong with the way you speak or write! Keep it coming and welcome aboard. I'm not yet a member but enjoy reading posts.
