Put my last produce on charred Apple wood, 1.5 liters into a 2liter mason jar, the rest charred apple, boy did it color up quick. I may pull it out in under a week to avoid too much wood.

The spirit pulled out some of the water that the wood was soaked on.
Alot of color and flavor from wood. I added some fortified tails(70proof before it was distilled in stockpot/wok)and some tails. Spirit has more grain flavor and can stand up to the strong sweet smokey wood flavors.
If I can only let it sit and mellow...better make more.@47abv
