final product turned cloudy from my Date mash....

I started collecting after i discarded 70ml of a 4ltr 55% first run... My first measurment was 85% I stopped collecting when it got to be 80%. I then cut it down with bottled water i bought from the store to 52%( I dont think the water was distilled)..... It then turned a bit cloudy... Is this ok?? It reminded me of Rockie that i had in turkey.. When you add water it turns cloudy.. any sugestions??

These are probably feints that are not soluble at lower alcohol concentrations. This indicates that you may have collected to long into the run, but sometimes you gotta do it to get the flavor that you want. Pothead says let it age. I agree, but would say let it settle.
