Just wondered if anybody here had any good recipe/method of making for making marijuana beer or spirits.

Also, do any of you know anything about Absinthe ?

found this on this websight. might wanna read over sight. lots of info here . Now there is an extremely illegal drink waiting to happen.

Some people have taken their processed herb and added it to strait spirit. But they didn't do this to drink it. They did it so that they can later extract THC oil. The process goes like this: take your processed herb and put it into a jar. Take HIGH proof spirit and pour it over the herb until it just covers the herb. Let this sit covered for a week, remembering to shake the jar 2-3 times a day. After the week is up, pour this solution into a double boiler (preferably on an electric stove/hot plate). Then gently bring the solution up to a gentile simmer. What happens next is the alcohol is slowly being evaporated, while leaving behind the THC oil. Mind you, THC is heat sensitive, so you will lose some of the oil due to the heating process. When you are done, you are left with a THC oil concentration. Most people then use this oil to dip their cigarettes into to enjoy an interesting smoke. Other people take a small amount of the oil and re-dissolve it into a shot worth of vodka and take the solution sublingually to achieve the THC affects without smoking. Other people add it to their cooking. The list could go on.

Thank you Tater, but that's a recipe for Honey Oil, quite dangerous to make, Class A to posses.

No. What I'm after is a recipe for making a beer/spirits with it.

I talked to a hippyish friend of mine who makes what yer askin' about. I asked him questions and took a few notes:

The good stuff in herb is not water soluable, but is very much so in animal fat, and to a lesser degree in alcohol.

BEER: After primary fermentation add (dependin' on quality of herb) 1-3+ OZ bud (water cured), or a pound plus of leaf (water cured) to the secondary (or lagerin') fermentation along with the lagerin' hops. Let lager for two or more months...decant...bottle...sit for two weeks...enjoy.
He said this beer should allways be a lager as it don't work right with the ale style.


SPIRITS: Macerate (soak) an ounce or two of water cured bud, or huge mounds of water cured leaf in a quart of clear alcohol. (If usin' leaf lightly fill a big jar and cover with alcohol.) Use the STRONGEST alcohol ya can get. If you distill, or have a distiller friend use 190+ proof. Let this macerate at least two weeks. Longer is better. Decant...dilute to 80 proof...enjoy.


WATER CURIN' HERB: The same way my G'daddy water cured some of his tobacco crop for personal use...soak yer herb in tepid filtered water for at least 6 hrs then gently pour off the water...do this twice more. This removes sugars, starches, and chlorophil, but leaves the good stuff. Yer herb will look slightly smaller and much darker, but will be more potant! (Same amount of "good stuff" with overall lower weight.)

tater...I believe that that is called hash. And it works better if cooked in vegetable oil instead of alcohol.

pothead how do you evaporate the vegtibale oil
alcohol is normally used do to it evaporates at a lower tempature
