i wonder haw you would go about getting a permit to run a still leagely in the u.s.anny info ,would be thanked

Of course it is alot more complicated than it may seem...obtaining a permit to distill your own fuel isn't quite as bad...BUT, you are only allowed to use the fuel on your own property(farm equipment,tractors,etc...) and they keep an eye on how much you make and how much you use.
As for obtaining permits for spirits to consume...Very difficult. your property has to be zoned properly, and meet MANY guidlines for safety, etc...etc...etc... they also have to have a tamper-proof meter installed to measure the amount of output the still/stills produce(these are monitored closely). MAny inspections of the property,stills,bottles,labels,storage containers, storage rooms, etc,etc,etc......more inspections, more money,more inspections,more money.......etc....inspections,inspections,inspections.....
