Rye whiskey

Post by Rocky_Creek »

I bought some low end rye, ( Jim Beam) for referance. Not too good with water, but very interesting taste when mixed with coke.
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, and them's pretty good odds.

A good cheap rye is Old Overholt. Everyone has their own taste, but I like Old Overholt WAY better than Jim Beam rye, it's usually a dollar or two less also.

For just a bit more Rip Van Winkle rye is excellent (at roughly 25$/bottle).

I've seen Jim Beam rye in bottle shops in Vancouver before, so Canada must get some JB rye.

beam rye is a pretty poor example.
