How much end product is average for.....
How much end product is average for a 50 litre keg as i'm currently making a pot still using an ss keg as my boiler and i was wondering how much alcohol i should expect at the end. i've read many of the guides and browsed the forum for the question although it probably has been asked before, anyone know ?

Use this calculator here:

Just put in your wash size and the % ABV after fermentation, the rest of the figures don't really matter. Good luck.
Cheers,
J

Regardin' my experience : I've a 50 l SS keg as well for my potstill as for my reflux (it's the same keg)...
I allways use 30 l fermenters, so :
30 l sugar wash, with turbo yeast give ± 4.2 l 90 abv neutral spirit.
30 l corn wash, with baker's yeast give ± 2 l 70 abv moonshine spirit.
30 l UJ's sour mash, with baker's yeast give ± 2.5 l 70 abv spirit.
30 l rice wash, with Wyeast 3134 yeast give :
1- 65 ml foreshots, above 85 %ABV.
2- 1550 ml between 85 %ABV and 60 %ABV.
3- 250 ml between 60 %ABV and 50 %ABV.
4- 250 ml between 50 %ABV and 40 %ABV.
Follow Big J's advise : use the calculator... Yeald depends essentially on the alcool % of your mash.
Quite impossible to measure, but you can calculate (estimate!) it measurin' start and final SG of your mash.
