Dumb question....

Post by riff42 »

For a sugar mash, 5kg of sugar boiled with 20l of water, cooled, throw in 5g of yeast, and let ferment?

My questions are. How long do i ferment, and when it is done, all I do is filter and distill? What about yeast nutrients, other chemicals, etc?

just seems a bit easy :)
