Activated carbon in Sydney

Post by CoopsOz »

G'day fellas,
Does anyone know the whereabouts of an activated carbon supplier. I'm sick of paying the $AU7.00 for 200g from my local home brew shop. I've seen this stuff on ebay....is this as good a price as i'll get?

Not that I use it a lot, but can't carbon be recycled by baking it?

It sure can. Just give it a proper baking and most of the crap it has absorbed will be released upon the world again. After that it's as good as new.
