We were doing a bit of a cleanup this weekend and low and behold i came accross the wifes uncles old 1976 Jim Beam Model T Liquer Bottle, we put it away to in a safe place and forgot about it..

i dont know what it was inside or how aged it was but it was about 30 year old from when he had it... to now ..

i noticed the cap had a crack in it so i decided to open it a taste if it was still ok.. :oops:

anyway i transferd it to another bottle, it was nice and dark and clear with no floaties, i droped a hydrometer in it and it was 48%abv 8)

and finaly the taste test... :roll: ... :shock:.. it had a sutle oaky vanila taste and it was smooth hardly any burn on the way down, hmmm hmmm hmmm very nice.. hard to belive jim beam tasted that good compared to crap thay sell these days..

i will sip on this one evry now and then...

When you finish the contents, you might want to consider selling the bottle on e bay. Sounds like a collectors item.
